On the way into church this AM, I witnessed one of our “seasons” first snowfalls. Although I’m not typically a fan of winter, you can’t deny it’s beauty! 2 Timothy 4:2 reminds us to “be prepared in season and out of season.” As I walked out in my sports jacket and regular shoes, I quickly understood that I wasn’t properly prepared for “the season.” It would have helped if I would have worn a heavier coat, gloves, and boots. But just as the scripture tells us, we should be prepared for the changing season. Yes, life will change and our season will bring an end to old things and a freshness to the new things. Are you prepared?
